2. Collecting your data
2.1. Data provided by Member
By registering as a Member you need to provide data including your name, email address and/or mobile number, and a password. If you register as an Employer, you will need to provide payment (e.g., credit card) and billing information.
You don’t have to provide additional information on your profile; however, providing it helps you to get more from our Services, including helping other Members find you. It’s your choice whether to include additional information on your profile and to make it public. Please do not post or add personal data to your profile that you would not want to be publicly available.
We collect personal data from you when you register online, post, send messages or upload documents to WeldSpace or when you use or view our website via your browsers cookies.
2.2. Data provided by Service use
WeldSpace log usage data when you visit or otherwise use our Services, including our website , perform a search, install or our mobile apps. We use log-ins, cookies and internet protocol addresses to identify you and log your use.

When you visit or leave WeldSpace Services (including plugins, cookies or similar technology), we receive the URL of both the site you came from and the one you go to next. We also get information about your IP address, proxy server, operating system, web browser and add-ons, device identifier and features, and/or ISP or your mobile carrier. If you use our Services from a mobile device, that device will send us data about your location based on your phone settings.
WeldSpace collects information about you when you send, receive, or engage with messages in connection with our Services.
3. Using and sharing your data
WeldSpace will use your personal data depending on Member status (Welder or Employer) and Services you use. Your data will be used/processed, also with the help of automated systems, in order to provide, support and develop our Services.
When WeldSpace processes your order, it may send your data to credit agencies.
If you agree, WeldSpace will share your data with our partners so that they may offer you their products and services.
WeldSpace retains your personal data when your account is open or as needed to provide you Services. This includes data you provided to WeldSpace and data generated or inferred from your use of our Services.
You can access, modify, update or delete your personal data. You also can ask WeldSpace to correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You have the right to stop or limit using all or part of your personal data. You have the right to request that WeldSpace transfer your personal data to another organization.
If you make a request, WeldSpace has one month to respond to you.
3.2. Welder's data
WeldSpace collects your data so that it can be used to manage your account, to send you the notices and special offers.
WeldSpace will use and process your data (name, picture, contact, location, qualification) to help other Members (Employers) find your profile and contact you. By default, your profile is visible for Employers. Optionally you can hide your profile.
3.3. Employer's data
WeldSpace collects Member's data for managing your account, invoicing and sending you the notices and special offers. When ordering Services, WeldSpace will use your payment and billing information. Your profile is not visible for other Members.
3.4. Associated Services
WeldSpace use others to help us provide our Services (maintenance, analysis, payments, fraud detection, marketing and development). They will have access to your information as reasonably necessary to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for other purposes.
3.5. Legal Disclosures
WeldSpace reserves the right to disclose all collected information about you when it required by law, or other legal process or if it reasonably necessary to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities or to assist government enforcement agencies, to investigate and defend ourselves against any third-party claims or allegations, to protect the security or integrity of our Services and rights and safety of our Members, WeldSpace personnel or others.
3.6. Account Disclosure
If you choose to close your WeldSpace account, your personal data will stop being visible to others on our Services within 24 hours. We generally delete closed account information within 30 days of account closure, except as noted below.
WeldSpace retains your personal data even after you have closed your account if reasonably necessary to comply with our legal obligations (including law enforcement requests), meet regulatory requirements, resolve disputes, maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse or enforce our User Agreement.
Information you have shared with others through WeldSpace Services or other way will remain visible after you closed your account or deleted the information from your own profile, and WeldSpace do not control data that other Members copied out of our Services. Your profile may continue to be displayed in the services of others until they refresh their cache.
WeldSpace implements security measures to protect your data and regularly monitors for possible vulnerabilities and attacks. However, WeldSpace cannot warrant the security of any information that you send us. There is no guarantee that data may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by security breach.
You can contact WeldSpace at any time, if you have questions or complaints regarding collecting, use, processing, storing of your personal data.
Cookies are text files which are stored on the browser or hard drive of your computer or mobile device when you visit a webpage or application. Cookies work to make your experience browsing our site as smooth as possible and they remember your preferences so you don’t have to insert your details again and again.
